The Good Review: Qwest: Papaya Cake

Howdy Everyone!

With so many amazing new additions at The Good, it’s always hard singling out new strains to review. Luckily, we get to look at a strain that found its way to the podium as one of the greats, the Papaya Cake. Made by Qwest, Papaya Cake is an Indica Dominant Hybrid famous for its flavourful, complex, and tropical terpene profile. While this strain is a cross between Papaya and the infamous Wedding Cake, Papaya Cake somehow takes on an appearance and flavour profile that is uniquely its own.

Like cake itself, the buds for this strain are dense and stocky creating a solid foundation for the plant to work its magic. The leaves are a light-forest green and have papaya-coloured pistils popping throughout the surface. A thick layer of Kief covers each nug, almost making it look like a frosted piece of cake.

The perfect bud for any Indica lover who wants a great taste with their toke, Qwest Papaya Cake brings on the high-powered effects with a taste that will leave your head spinning. The flavour is exactly as the name suggests, with a sweet tropical fruit taste accented by cake and sour lemons. The aroma follows the same profile, with a sweet sugary cake overtone that is accented by fresh tropical papaya.

The Papaya Cake high is just as delicious, with relaxing and soothing effects that will have you kicked back relaxing before you know it. This is not your wake and bake strain as it will melt you into the couch with relaxation. Keep some snacks around as this strain has been known to trigger a serious case of the munchies.

If you are looking for a delicious strain that is also going to deliver on THC content, flavour, and an overall amazing experience, Qwest Papaya Cake is great candidate.
